Another tough, hard result to stomach as the game was there for the taking but it wasn’t to be today

Wids started poorly from kick off, going short and not making 10m and it got worse from there with an outrageous penalty count against but take nothing away from Rochdale, they took the chances that we gave them and scored enough points to win and go on to the semi final. Good luck in the games ahead.

Sadly we saw a couple of injuries in the game, with Will J needing a hospital visit and confirmation of a broken collar bone which will curtail his season. Speedy recovery Will!

Thanks all who made the trip over to Rochdale, sorry it wasn’t the result we all wanted but we will now regroup and go again, we still have the lancs trophy to contest in a couple of weeks.
