Nevertheless, the team treated this match as any other. The Wids forwards overpowered their competition in scrums and lineouts and quickly put the team 14-0 up. The pace and skill of the backs was there but they couldn’t quite get the ball over the line. The Wids team lost its calm structured play for a while and allowed LSH to get a try, but soon found their form again and put another try in too. The last 20 minutes of the game was very evenly fought, LSH back line proving their experience and scoring again to even the game at 21-21.
