Well done to Edward Price, Zak Mannion and Rueben Mafi who all made their debuts in a Sale Sharks academy game earlier today, in what seemed to be a comprehensive win however am sure beyond the win the players and wider team would of got much more from the experience than a W, additional coaching and playing opportunities to the five U16s in the academy will not only improve each of them but also add more knowledge and experience when back with their club mates.

The other two U16s in the academy are Kian McGann and Lewis Owens, Kian sadly not available today and Lewis recovering from injury, am sure both will feature soon enough as the season is only just starting.

From all of us involved with the U16s, players, coaches and parents, very well done boys, am sure the wider club network will also join us in wishing you the best.
