The original date has been brought forward by a couple of weeks following the decision of Sandbach's first round opponents to concede the tie originally scheduled for this weekend.

Both teams ended their league campaign last Saturday, with Sandbach losing 33-28 at Burnage to finish in third place, whilst the Wids ended up in ninth position on the league ladder after suffering a 29 - 14 reverse at Crewe & Nantwich.
