Widnes Rugby Union Club are looking for preferably a player coach/or coach to be part of our team and drive forward the club vision. Someone after having played at a good level, and now wants to progress further and start or continue their career as a coach.

We are looking for someone who is going to have an impact on the pitch as a coach and also ideally as a player. Someone who is keen to also upskill and develop the players around them. Overseeing the integration of our developing youth players will also be a key role in the position.

The position will give the successful applicant the leading role in coaching, training and selection of the team.

Widnes RUFC has a great team culture that is massively home grown with a first team that regularly consists of 90% of players that have come through our junior and colts teams. We also have some of the best facilities in the area. We are an ambitious club that wants to continue the success we have had in recent years. That success has included promotion and appearances in two National Finals in the last three seasons.
