This will be a meeting between the two form sides of the competition, and one that could be just too close to call.
The Moss Laners have been unbeaten since mid-November, and last weekend recorded their seventh straight league win after beating Liverpool Collegiate. They have also reached the semi-final of the League Cup, where, ironically, they will face Widnes again at the same venue in early April.
Meanwhile, the 'red-and-blacks' will continue in the same vein as they have done all year, and will be hoping to extend their winning run by at least another week as they enter yet another critical phase of the campaign.
In the other senior fixtures, the Seconds are at Holmes Chapel whilst the Thirds are also on the road at Ellesmere Port.
All games kick off at 2.15pm
