Proceedings began with a minute’s applause for Liam & Leearna McGovern’s son Kian Rose who was 16 years, and who tragically passed away on 20th December after an eight-month illness. Kian was a former Wids junior player. Liam is a Widnes lad and the current Didsbury Toc H player coach.
