We are saddened to report that former player Danny Bridge died peacefully in Warrington Hospital on Tuesday night, following a long illness, aged 79.

Danny suffered a stroke in 2007, but still managed to support the Club whenever he could and never refused an invitation to meet up with friends. Danny is circled in the photo at one such occasion a few years ago.

Danny was a regular 1st team scrum half in the 60s and early 70s, heritage number 109. He will be remembered as a former Vice President who was a great character and totally likeable.

Danny suffered a second stroke in December last year and has been very ill since.

The funeral will take place on Monday, 12 August at 2.00pm at Warrington Crematorium, Chester Road, Higher Walton, Warrington WA4.

We offer our sincere condolences to Linda and all the family.
