They are looking to boost perimeter advertising around the First Team pitch at their Heath Road Headquarters.

Sponsorship Secretary Ivor Lewis is heading up the initiative, and is keen to talk to local companies who would like to get involved.

Various sized advertising space is available ranging from small to large, with a discount available to any new businesses signing up ahead of the new campaign.

To anyone new to the area; their Heath Road Headquarters are located in a popular, and busy area of the town with lots of daily passing traffic.

Within its site, the Club has a busy Doctors Surgery, whilst their playing and social facilities are second to none, all of which offers a wide-range and regular footfall of potential new and existing customers.

Widnes RUFC is a community-based rugby union club and heavily dependent on volunteers and the support and generosity from local businesses.

On the field, they run three senior teams, a senior Colts team and a whole range of mini and junior teams covering nearly all age groups.

Last season, the First Team achieved promotion into Regional 2 North West. They also reached the national final of the Papa John's Community Cup at Twickenham for the first time in their 100-year history.

The Club also receive great support and publicity through the local press and on social media.
