As you should know by now, Dave Tollitt has set himself the unenviable task of compiling a reasonably comprehensive list of 1st XV players as part of our 60th Year Heritage Project. Here are the first 101 names, culled from our internal records. We’ve no doubt that there are other players to add but, before he becomes a permanent fixture at Widnes Library, he’d like a few pointers. If you can see any glaring absentee from the opening decade at Heath Road, let him know. This will take a little effort but, as he’s making a big effort, should prove worthwhile.
